Job Description: AbbVie is seeking an Engineering Technical Lead to join the PDS&T Injection Device group. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the development, characterization, transfer, and lifecycle management of injection devices and related combination products. You will guide engineering strategy, drive complex technical decisions, and serve as a key resource for cross-functional partners throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep device engineering expertise, strong scientific judgment, and the ability to lead technical work with a high degree of autonomy while mentoring others and advancing robust, patient-centered device solutions. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership for injection device development, verification, validation, and troubleshooting Define device engineering strategy and guide execution across development and lifecycle activities Lead root cause investigations and drive solutions for device performance, reliability, and usability issues Analyze multidisciplinary data and translate findings into technical conclusions and next-step actions Support design transfer, scale-up, commercialization, and change control activities Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and suppliers
