As a Global Trade Compliance organization, we are committed to driving and pioneering best-in-class trade compliance practices in a dynamic global environment. This role is an important GTC team member which is highly visible and a strategic position that ensures adherence with International Trade Law and local regulations, improves operational efficiency and facilitates reduction of tariff and non-tariff barriers. The primary focus will be oversight of activities at AbbVie's French Manufacturing facilities, but this role will also support the other EU sites with tactical and compliance activities. By leveraging their expertise and collaborating with various cross-functional teams, this role helps optimize trade compliance operations, enhance decision-making, and mitigate risks. Their contributions are instrumental in shaping the future of our trade compliance function and supporting AbbVie's mission to improve the lives of individuals worldwide. Stellenbeschreibung: Establish and maintain localized operational import and export procedures Interface with local site management and other internal/external partners to ensure all import/export transactions are in compliance with EU Customs Law Act as primary point of contact with customs and any other government agencies to address request for audit and inspections Provide support for external reviews and investigations/audits to help minimize any adverse impact to the company Manage the daily import/export operational activities and resolve day-to-day import/export/customs issues that result in border
