Primary Function The Load Planner II is responsible for maximizing truckload shipments between company warehouses and customers. The incumbent will enter, schedule, and track loads to ensure proper load delivery. Responsibilities Work with internal customers, including order entry, production, shipping, and receiving, to ensure loads are scheduled to make specific arrival dates. Utilize tools including SAP/TM to build customer shipments and determine the most cost effective method of planning. Monitor tools to identify past due orders and expedite planning process. Work with carriers to ensure timely planning, pick-up and delivery of outbound loads. Provide notification of freight readiness, re-consignment and other required communication to carriers.
