The Role We're looking for a hands-on Database Engineer to own PostgreSQL as a production system at Stream. You'll work directly with a small, senior team and be responsible for the performance, reliability, and operability of the databases that store and serve data for Stream's entire real-time platform. This is a deep, hands-on engineering role. You'll spend your time in query plans, storage internals, and the operational realities of running databases under heavy, continuous load - not administering them from a distance. Why This Role Exists We have 35-40 different DBs (largest one is 15tb), with large writing throughput. To save hosting costs, we plan on migrating from AWS RDS to self-hosted Postgres on Kubernetes. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON As our Growth Marketing Specialist, you'll own Stream's presence in the channels where developers actually spend their time. You'll run three programs end to end - social & community, sponsorships & partnerships, and our developer email program - working day to day with our Marketing and Developer Relations (DevRel) teams to reach developers in a voice they trust. It's a hands-on, early-career role with real ownership from day one and room to grow your scope as your programs prove out. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON As Senior Manager, Organic Growth & AI Search, you'll own Stream's organic growth engine across search engines, AI assistants, and our website. You'll set the strategy for SEO, AI search (AEO), conversion (CRO),and the marketing data infrastructure used to measure them. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role that both sets organic growth strategy and executes it directly, working closely with the marketing, frontend, content, and Developer Relations (DevRel) teams.
