In this mid-level role, you'll work directly with borrowers to help them navigate one of the most complex financial decisions of their lives - managing and repaying their student debt. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through federal repayment options, refinancing opportunities, and everything in between. What You'll Do - Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to review and evaluate their federal and private student loan repayment options - Clearly explain federal repayment programs including income-driven repayment (IDR) plans and loan forgiveness opportunities - Guide borrowers through pulling refinance offers via the Juno platform - Send timely follow-up communications after each meeting and support clients through the full application process - Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all client interactions - Schedule and conduct follow-up meetings as needed based on each borrower's situation and timeline What You Bring - Solid understanding of the student loan industry, including federal loan programs and repayment options - Familiarity with lending, banking, and refinancing - particularly in the student loan and personal lending space - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in plain language - Experience in a client-facing financial services or sales role preferred - Self-motivated with strong organizational habits and

The Problem Federal lending reforms are creating an unprecedented market shift. Starting July 2026, new caps on federal graduate loans (including the elimination of Grad PLUS) will leave millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students will increasingly need transparent, competitive private options-exactly what Juno negotiates. Your mission The JD Campus Outreach Intern will lead financial-literacy education and grassroots outreach at your law school, focusing on programming about financing a legal education and responsibly comparing loan options. Your efforts will ensure every future lawyer gets fair, transparent financing options amid new federal caps.
