  • Staff Growth Engineer

    San Francisco, California, United States

    unspecified Salary not disclosed

Staff Growth Engineer San Francisco, California, United States Summary: Growth at Hedra is yours to run. As the founding member of our Growth team, you'll own the work that moves the numbers - sign-ups, activation, conversion, retention, revenue - and build the infrastructure that lets us test and ship faster than anyone else. We already get tens of thousands of organic visitors every day. Your job is to turn them into happy retained customers. That includes the hard parts of monetization: tiered pricing, usage-based billing, payment flows, subscription logic. You'll set technical direction for the team, coach other engineers on how to run experiments without fooling themselves, and decide when something deserves a real test versus when to just commit and move on. You'll know when the metric is lying, when to trust your gut, and when to keep digging. You'll be the person who spots the 10x opportunity buried in a dashboard nobody else read carefully enough. We're in the office 5 days a week in San Francisco. We get more done in the same room, and we like it that way - though working from home when you need deep focus is fine. What you'll actually do - Architect the growth stack: experimentation platform, analytics pipelines, feature flags, credits system - Ship the monetization surface area - pricing tiers, usage metering, checkout, subscriptions - Call the technical shots on growth bets: experiment or commit, rebuild or iterate - Help other engineers get sharper at experimentation and product thinking
