The Opportunity: We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide array of accounting functions, including invoicing, collections, vendor invoice processing, month-end close, and statutory reporting. The initial focus of this position will be the migration of historical accounting data into our new internal ERP system (such as QuickBooks). Upon successful completion of migration, the role will transition into a full-time position as the company's Controller, with expanded responsibilities in financial oversight and leadership. About the opportunity: We build technology that connects parents with pediatricians through two core platforms: our parent-facing experience https://apps.apple.com/us/app/blueberry-pediatrics/id1444477436 and our physician platform. Both are written in Django https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/5.1/ and Hotwire https://hotwired.dev/ (an HTMX-like framework). Experience in these technologies helps, but what's more important is general full-stack knowledge, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
