Whop is seeking an Director, Accounting to build the company's accounting foundation from the ground up.This is a hands-on role responsible for all aspects of accounting operations - including accounting, internal controls, month-end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit readiness. You will partner closely with the Corporate Controller and Head/ VP of Finance to transform Whop's accounting function from startup mode into a disciplined, scalable operation. What You'll Do Build the Foundation - Assist the Controller in design and implementation of Whop's formal accounting policies, processes, and internal controls. - Establish a structured month-end and year-end close process. - Lead accounting system upgrades, process automation, and data quality initiatives.
